Naini Lake
Naini lake is the star attraction and the main draw of tourists in Uttaranchal. True to its popularity the lake is splendidly beautiful. Its picture postcard scene here. The lake is surrounded by hills, cosy cottages and villas peeping from the greenery of the hills and when all these reflect in the lake, it is a sight to behold. Even more spectacular is the scene when night descends, and the lights come up and reflect in the lake.

Naina Peak
(2611 Mt) The highest peak of Nainital provides a challenge to the most avid trekkers. Situated about 6 kms from the town China Peak is known for its splendid Bird's eye view of the town.

Tiffin Top
(2290 Mt) also known as Dorothy's seat -in memory of an English lady Mrs. Kellet Dorothy, who was killed in an air crash Tiffin top is a short trek of about 3 kms from Nainital and provides excellent view of the Himalayas and the town.
Observatory
It is about 4.5 km from Nainital. Situated at an altitude of (1951 Mt).Observatory is basically a place of astronomical studies. Public is shown round some of the instruments during working days at afternoons. For night viewing three- four days on moonlit nights are fixed and permission is needed.

Cave Garden
2 Km treak from the lake natural home of Lepords The caves garden is present .Lepords and Tigers were believe to reside their .adventrous feeling can be had in the caves .

The Flatts

The place is quite an affair in the evening. It looks like as if everyone has just one place to go in the evening and that is Flatts. Flatts is actually a place which has something for everyone. Most important here is the multipurpose ground. Sports events to cultural activities during festivals, the ground is stage for all.

Hanuman Garhi
(1950 Mt) About 3 kms from Nainital is the famous temple of Lord Hanumanji. One can view the magnificent sun set from here.

Rope Way

The rope way journey in Nainital is one of the most famous attractions here. its a short trip from Mallital to Snow view point but you can't afford to miss either the snow point nor the trolley ride. It is a sharp ascend that the rope way makes from Mallital (1938m) to Snow View point (2270 m) which could be both a bit scary or thrilling.

Nainital Zoo

Around one Km. away from bus stand at an altitude of 2100 meters in sprawling open area there is Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo . Now a days it has Monkeys, Himalayan black bear ,Leopard ,Siberian Tiger,Palm civet cat, Wolf, Silver Pheasants, Rose ringed Prakeet, Hill Fox , Ghoral, Barking Deer, Sambhar

Raj Bhawan
Raj Bhavan was built by British as residence of Governor of North West Province. Now Raj Bhavan is the official accommodation of Governor (Uttarakhand). It consists of a marvelous garden, Golf Links, Swimming Pool.The Governor’s House was built in the line of Buckingham Palace having double storied 113 rooms .For visiting this place prior permission is must.
