Cantonment Act 2006 obligates Cantonment Board to provide basic health services to all the citizens residing within the Cantonment. For this purpose Cantonment Board Nainital has established an out door dispensary for providing medical care to the Cantt. Board Staff and inhabitants of Cantt area. The dispensary is functioning successfully  to cater to the health needs of residents of the Cantonment, employees of the Cantonment Board and nearby areas of the Cantonment.
The registration fee is Rs 5/- per patient. The registration card is valid for fifteen days. Free medicines are given to the cantt board employees and to the patients below poverty line.
2686 patients were attended during the Year 2008.
One part time doctor has been engaged by the Board w.e.f 05/12/2006.
Cantonment Board Dispensary opens from 9.00 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day except Sunday.
